First of all, the greater the number of lamp beads, the brightness will be significantly improved, but at the same time, the heat dissipation will also increase accordingly, causing the temperature to rise. The price of this configuration will be relatively high. Secondly, the greater the number of lamp beads, the smaller the power of the lamp beads used will be to avoid excessive total power, but dense arrangement will also affect heat dissipation. In addition, the production and welding costs of multiple lamp beads are also higher than that of a single high-power lamp bead, which will increase the cost. Therefore, when purchasing, weigh these factors based on your personal needs and budget. ‌12

Compared with traditional LED light strips, COB light strips use a continuous phosphor glue coating to encapsulate the lamp beads inside. The lamp beads are not visible. The light output is softer and the brightness is also very good. It is no problem for daily use. However, the lamp beads of COB lamp strips are smaller and have more lamp beads per meter. Generally, the number of lamp beads per meter can reach about 300 or even more. In comparison, traditional LED light strips have larger lamp beads, generally 60, 120, 180 or 240 lamp beads per meter. ‌3
